Paris’s newest gourmet address, on the seventh and eighth floors of the Printemps department store, takes a fresh approach to the marketing of French foodstuffs, mixing upscale boutiques for everything from wine to teas with some of the top names in cuisine and pastry.

We recommend swinging by for a casse-croûte and drinking in the stunning views of the city while you’re there.

A TASTE OF EATALY

Say buongiorno to the capital’s hip new Italian marketplace. The latest offshoot of the Eataly group, the astonishing 43,000-square-foot duplex space, just behind the BHV department store, offers a gigantic deli with every Italian cheese and cured meat under the sun, a wine cellar, an indoor courtyard brimming with fresh fruits and veggies, and a first-floor food court packed to the rafters with Sicilian delicacies.

RISEN FROM THE ASHES

After being savaged during last spring’s gilets jaunes riots, the legendary brasserie (and hotel) Le Fouquet’s has finally reopened and, we’re happy to report, it’s just as sleek and fabulous as ever. A historic hangout for a veritable Who’s Who of both Parisian and international stars, its sprawling terrace overlooking the Champs-Élysées is the perfect place to see – and be seen.

CUCKOO FOR PERU

The Coya empire, purveyor of upscale Peruvian cuisine, has arrived in Paris. Set in an old church in Beaupassage, this is one of the hottest openings of the season. The opulent dining room, with its contemporary artwork, plush chairs and original soundtrack, sets the tone for delicious dishes to share and the best Pisco sour in the city.
